Roger Gunning FCMA CGMA
A Chartered Management Accountant with many years’ experience in both Industry and Practice. Roger manages the Gloucester office with a portfolio of SME clients which includes Limited Companies, Partnerships, Sole Traders and Individuals. He has worked in many different business sectors and provides all his clients with sound financial guidance, tax advice, analysis and financial and management reporting. He handles both UK and International clients and always builds a strong relationship with them, providing first class accounting & tax services. Roger ensures tax compliance in all areas and has particular specialist expert knowledge in Corporation Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax. Knowledge of accounting packages including Sage, Xero and Quickbooks.
Jon Gunning
Jon is the founder member of the practice and manages both the Cheltenham and Hammersmith Offices. As well as managing a portfolio of SME clients, Jon also provides specialist tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of business clients. He possesses significant corporate tax experience gained within the profession and he is a technically capable tax adviser, able to assist in complex client tax work. Jon works alongside many different businesses offering financial guidance, advice, analysis and financial and management reporting. Knowledge of accounting packages including Sage, Xero and Quickbooks.
Dawn Stoodley
Dawn is responsible for overseeing and delivering payroll services to clients, ensuring payrolls are processed accurately, efficiently and in compliance with current legislation and HMRC requirements. The role supports both clients and colleagues, ensuring high standards of service are maintained and payroll deadlines are consistently met. The role involves processing and reviewing weekly and monthly payrolls, submitting RTI returns to HMRC, administering workplace pensions and statutory payments, maintaining accurate payroll records, and responding to payroll queries from clients, employees and third parties.
Phil Hendry ACA
Phil is a Chartered Accountant and has been managing Finance Transformation projects for many years including: Outsourcing; ERP Implementation; Start Up Companies; Shared Service Implementation; Target Operating Models; Process Design and Documentation. Phil has experience in many different industry sectors and commerce with proven ability to deliver in key strategic and transformational projects. Phil is our Finance Lead in the design and implementation of major outsourcing projects.

John is our advisor for the Oil & Gas Energy sector projects that we undertake. We have several Energy clients and John is our key advisor and outsourcing expert in this field. John is a Chartered Management Accountant and has extensive Oil & Gas financial management expertise working in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He possesses extensive financial knowledge having held Group, Operational & Functional roles and has been involved with the leadership and business development of large portfolios. He is a champion of innovative technology solutions having been heavily involved in the development of the Microsoft software product Lumos365.
Reema Bhatt
Reema is an Accounts Supervisor and has worked in public practice for several years. Reema prepares Financial Accounts as well as payroll, general accounting and self-assessment. A typical day for Reema is reviewing Financial Accounts and VAT returns and making sure that everything is in order. As well as sorting out Client Accounts much of Reema’s time is spent answering client emails, calling clients about any queries they may have and making sure that clients work is up to date. Clients who deal with Reema on a regular basis are always guaranteed a helpful and competent solution to all their needs.
Jordan Choynowska
Jordan is our Office Administrator and responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business. The role involves managing client communications, maintaining records, supporting the team with operational tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met. The role involves office administration, preparing and issuing documentation, maintaining client files, monitoring deadlines and assisting with client onboarding and compliance procedures. Jordan demonstrates strong organisational and communication skills, excellent IT skills and maintains a professional and client-focused approach.
Helen Gunning
Helen is responsible for providing administrative support to the wider team and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the business. The role is designed to support the efficient delivery of services. The role involves assisting with telephone calls and emails, preparing and issuing routine correspondence, maintaining client records and filing systems, scanning and uploading documents, monitoring shared inboxes, and carrying out general administrative duties as required. Helen has excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems, together with a professional and client-focused approach.
